Hello friends of HOCI. As the youth week and the youth day celebrations come up, HOCI is wishing a fun filled celebrations to all the youths, and is organizing activities for these youths on January 28, 2016 at the ST. Anthony’s Primary school, Njinikom. Some of the activities for this day are games, sports, brain box, etc with the overall best school and youth group winning trophies.

Again HOCI is asking some fundamental questions about this year’s 50th anniversary celebrations. What is the use producing a cloth and building a monument? What has been the situation of the youths for the past 50 years that we are celebrating? What has changed? The unemployment rate is still very high, crime wave is still very high, etc and the list can go on and on.

It is only when this evaluation has been done that we can start talking about celebrations.
What is your take on this?
